Position Overview:
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy to enhance Digiwave's brand presence, engage with our audience, and drive business growth. This role requires a creative thinker with a strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics, as well as the ability to create compelling content and manage online communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Digiwave's marketing goals and brand identity.
- Create, curate, and publish engaging content across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, insights, and opportunities to engage with our audience.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all digital channels.
- Analyze and report on social media performance metrics, using data to optimize strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build a strong online community.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Coordinate with influencers and brand advocates to amplify our social media reach.
- Oversee social media contests, giveaways, and other engagement initiatives.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful social media campaigns.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms and their best practices.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
- Experience with paid social media advertising and campaign management.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when needed.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and changes in social media algorithms and platforms.
Experience
2 years experuence and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
